The Astronomical Observatory of Abruzzo is one of the Institutes of the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF). According to its Statute, the INAF develops and promotes the scientific researches and technologies in Astronomy and Astrophysics, as well as disseminates the scientific results, favors and promotes the transfer of technologies to industry, and pursues academic excellence on an international ground. One of the primary goals of the Astronomical Observatory of Abruzzo is to increase the knowledge of the Universe in different astronomical fields and its dissemination to other scientists and the public as well.
